“Art is a jealous mistress.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson

To Have & To Hold is a group invitational exhibition of five married couples with dual-careers from Kentucky. A gallery publication with artist interviews conducted by art historian Nancy Wolsk examines how these artists navigate their professional and domestic responsibilities. Each publication will include photographs of the artists and a Valentine's gift from the gallery, original temporary tattoos designed by four of the couples. Cricket Press-designed To Have & To Hold posters are also available for $10 each. The Gallery is closed Monday, January 15, 2007 in observance on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The reception for the artists will coincide with the Lexington Gallery Hop on Friday, February 16, 2007, 5-8 p.m.
