Enid is a bitter, frustrated young woman who becomes disgusted with her pretentious friends while at chinese dinner with them.
Excusing herself to the bathroom, Enid discovers a tray of fortune cookies prepared for their table. She nimbly replaces the fortunes in these cookies with her own, caustic messages.
She has finally found a way to say the things that she never could before.
*Enid is loosely based on a character from a Martha Gehringer novel. |
