Calendar Year End Giving
We want to take this time to THANK YOU for your loyalty to the University. Your gifts go a long way in helping provide a Transylvania University education to our 1,200 students each year. And, with your support, Transylvania’s life changing work is attracting increasing national attention, such as a ‘best value’ by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance and the latest U.S. News & World Report college rankings. Transylvania moved up six places—from 81 to 75—in the 2013 U.S. News & World Report. It is Transylvania’s highest ever ranking since becoming a part of the national liberal arts colleges category.
It’s hard to believe, but 2012 is drawing to a close. In order to ensure that your gifts are processed before the 2012 tax deadline, we encourage you to complete your charitable giving before December 31, 2012. Please note that Transylvania’s campus will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 and reopen Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
Happy holidays and best wishes for a wonderful new year!
