The Gangotri glacier in the Himalayas, which provides up to 70 percent of the water in the Ganges River, is retreating 35 meters yearly. Once the glacier disappears, the Ganges will become a seasonal river, depriving 400 million people of water (Worldwatch).During each registration period, we provide information about courses that count toward the minor, as well as courses in various programs that serve as prerequisites for courses in the minor.
