Information for Parents

Dear Transy Parent,

Thank you for your interest in the services provided by the Career Development Center. Our goal is to develop a relationship with your son or daughter that will extend through four years at Transy and continue after graduation. We offer a wealth of career services and resources that will help your student develop professionally and will complement the excellent academic preparation they receive in the classroom.

Our services are voluntary. Every student visits our office during the University 1111 Academic Career Skills course required of first-year students, but they are not required to visit us again. You can help by encouraging your student to meet with us before their senior year. The Frequently Asked Questions section below provides information to help you talk to your student about a career.
