Spotlight Job and Internship Fair
Transy is part of a consortium of private colleges and universities in Kentucky that host a job and internship fair every February. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and talk with several hundred private college students from around the state. For more information or to register for the fair, click here.

Law School Fair
Held annually in October and co-sponsored with Phi Alpha Delta, this fair takes place during Kentucky's law school fair week. Other colleges hosting fairs during the same week include Eastern Kentucky University, Center College, the University of Kentucky, and Georgetown College. Click here for registration information.

On-Campus Recruiting
Transylvania’s Career Development Center will work with you to provide the best recruiting method to meet your needs. Options include conducting open or pre-screened interviews, setting up an information booth, or hosting an information session. For details or to schedule a campus visit, contact Susan Rayer, director of career development, at (859) 233-8193 or srayer@transy.edu.

Position Posting
Transylvania's Career Development Center uses the Experience system to post positions on-line for students to view. To post a position (part-time, summer, or full-time), please e-mail a job description and contact information to Michael Cronk, assistant director of career development, at mcronk@transy.edu. If your organization frequently has openings, consider setting up an account with Transy through Experience.

Internships
Hosting a Transy student as an intern can be a win-win situation for your company or agency. An intern gives you the flexibility of having a motivated worker without making the commitment necessary for a full-time employee. Having a Transy intern is a rewarding way to propel your business while helping educate the next generation of workers. For more information, contact Susan Rayer, director of career development, at (859) 233-8193 or srayer@transy.edu.

Video Interviewing/Information Sessions
Transy has teamed up with CareerCam.net to offer you the ability to remotely interview our students or to offer online career information sessions! Please visit CareerCam's website to learn more about this exciting opportunity.

Ethically Responsible Recruiting
Transylvania University adheres to the Principles for Professional Conduct established by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and requires that all students who participate in recruiting activities abide by these standards. We expect the same professionalism from employers. Recruiters must treat all student information, including resumes and transcripts, as strictly confidential. All interviewers should be trained to ask only those questions that are legal and appropriate. You are encouraged to review the Principles for Employment Professionals included in the document above.

Anti-Discrimination Policy
Transylvania University requires that any institution, corporation, organization, agency, or individual applying to use the facilities/services of the Career Development Center or engaged in recruiting Transy students or alumni signify its certification that it is an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendment of 1972, Title I and Title V of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the 1976 Equal Opportunities Act of Kentucky. In addition, you certify that applicants will be given equal consideration without regard to race, religion, creed, sex, national or ethnic origin, age, marital status, disability, or sexual orientation, unless allowed by law.
