All that studying can work up quite the appetite, and luckily Transy has you covered. Students can purchase a meal plan, either a 19-meal-per-week plan, a 14-meal per-week plan, a 10-meal per-week plan or a plan offering 160 meals per term. Special meals are available for students with medical needs. In addition, you can try some of the other great eateries on campus—Jazzman’s Café, the Rafskeller or the 1780 Café.
Forrer Dining Center
The traditional campus cafeteria is anything but ordinary. It offers a wide selection, including soft serve ice cream, classic entrees and vegetarian offerings. This location offers “all-you-care-to-eat” dining.
Forrer Dining Hall is also the new late-night dining option on campus. Made-to-order quesadillas, burgers and personal pizza will be on the menu as well as grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, ice cream and snacks.
Fondly known as “The Raf,” this campus retail location in Mitchell Fine Arts features The Grille @ Transylvania and a Sub Connection. The Grille offers burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, french fries and all your grilled favorites. Sub Connection is a deli that specializes in made-to-order salads and subs on fresh baked breads.
Choose from a large selection of fresh baked goods, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Jazzman’s features freshly brewed coffee, espresso drinks, Chai Tea Lattes, Republic of Tea and much more. Jazzman’s is located in the Glenn Building.
