As a small city and a college town, there is a place for everyone in Lexington. Following is a list of groups where Transylvania students are currently involved.
If you do not see your faith tradition on this list, contact Wilson Dickinson, associate dean for religious life. He will work with you to find the place of worship or the community that is right for you.

Disciples of Christ Group at Crestwood Christian Church
The young adults and college students of Crestwood strive to create a group focused on fellowship and outreach. Their young adult Sunday school class meets weekly in the Mission Center Arts and Crafts room at 9:30 a.m. to discuss current events and the importance of incorporating biblical teachings in our daily lives. The Young Adults of Crestwood strive to serve our community in Lexington through monthly service projects—participating in projects with St. James Place, God’s Pantry, the Catholic Charity Christmas Store, and at local retirement communities. For more information, visit the Crestwood Christian Church website or contact Rev. Emily Witsiepe, minister of youth and families, at (859) 266-0459.

The group follows a wide-range of bible studies and sermon series and always focuses on what is going on in the students’ lives. Along with the Sunday morning group, The College Group also offers monthly outings. For more information, contact Kyle Leadingham.
