Inaugural presentation of the Transylvania University College Democrats "Left of Center" speaker series.
The lecture will focus on how the United States was able to establish a world order after WWII, how it was like and unlike previous imperial orders, and the consequences of it on the 2008 financial crisis. Dr. Jeff Freyman is a professor of political science and director of The Center for Liberal Education at Transylvania.His areas of research include globalization, comparative democratization, comparative political economy, and Marxism.
