Tuition and Enrollment
The cost per camper for the five-day All-Sports Camp is $215, which includes meals, equipment, and a camp t-shirt. A deposit of $85 per session is required with the application and may be refunded through June 1 (with a written request, and minus a $20 administration fee). The balance is due on the first day of camp. Applications will be accepted until the maximum enrollment is reached. Late applicants will be placed on a waiting list and enrolled if any openings occur.

Clothing and Equipment
After receiving applications and deposits, Transylvania will notify campers about the clothing needed for camp. The cost of equipment required for camp activities is covered by tuition.

Meals
Lunch, snack and refreshments are included in the enrollment fee. Lunch is served in Forrer Dining Center and is prepared by Transylvania's food service staff.

Medical Information
Transylvania has a well-equipped and professionally staffed infirmary. Each camper must submit a medical statement before participating in any athletic activity.

Parking and Drop Off
Parents are encouraged to come in and pick up their child at the end of each day. Please do not pull up or park in reserved areas or anywhere that will block traffic. Counselors and camp staff will wait outside the rear entrance of the campus center with children whose parents are late.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Do you have to pay a deposit for each child you are enrolling for each different session you are enrolling in?
Yes. For example, if you are enrolling two children in the first session, and one of the children will attend the second session as well, your total deposits due would total $255.00 ($85 per child/per session)
  • It's been several weeks since I sent my application in and I haven't received anything.
Because our applications are sent out through a bulk mailing company, the time frame for our customers to receive the mailing varies. You may receive your mailing right away, while others you know don't receive their mailing for another week. We will make every attempt to process applications in a prompt manner. Please be patient.
  • My child is only six, can I still enroll him/her in All-Sports Camp?
Coach will make all decisions regarding camp exceptions. Please phone (859) 233-8153 between 9 a.m. and noon, Monday-Friday.
  • My child is getting too old for camp. Can he/she still attend?
Children who are at least 14 years of age may be eligible for Counselor-In-Training Camp.
  • My child is on medication. Can it be distributed by camp staff?
Yes. Bring your child's medication and notify your child's counselor upon arriving. We will do our best to accommodate you.
  • Can I sign my children up to be in the same group as their friends?
You can request your children to be in the same group, but we cannot guarantee we can accommodate your request. The groups are based on the age of the children. If the children are the same age, it is likely they will be placed in the same group.
