We are delighted that you plan to visit Transy, and we want your experience to be the best that it can be. Pictures can show you our beautiful buildings and well-manicured lawns, but they only tell part of the story. Visiting campus is the only way to get a true feel for the congenial spirit of our campus.
Transylvania's admissions office is open for visits Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. EDT while classes are in session. You're welcome any day of the week; however, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are the best days to attend a class that might interest you. Please plan to spend at least half a day on campus.
Or the Sophomore Experience. Or the Freshman Experience. No matter your graduation year, we're glad you're considering Transylvania! Come visit us to see all we have to offer.
For more information or for help scheduling a visit, please call the admissions office at (800) 872-6798 or (859) 233-8242.
Many students wish to take advantage of our overnight visit program. An overnight will provide you with the best overall view of Transylvania because you can experience both the academic and social sides of campus life. We have a group of students, admissions ambassadors, who have an extra bed in their room just for you—no sleeping on the floor at Transy!
Space is limited, so we ask that you speak directly with our campus visit coordinator to schedule your overnight experience. She can be reached at (800) 872-6798 or (859) 233-8242.
During the academic year, Transylvania periodically offers on-campus events–such as fall and spring preview days, transfer student open house, and admitted senior scholarship recognition day–for prospective students and their families. Activities may include residence hall tours, student panel discussions, faculty presentations, or opportunities to learn about scholarships.
For more information or to RSVP for an event, please call the admissions office at (800) 872-6798 or (859) 233-8242
Transylvania University admits students regardless of age, race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, national origin, or any other classification protected by federal or state law or local ordinance.
