Using Your Crimson Card

Your Crimson Card is your official Transylvania University identification as well as a multi-function card that can be used to access your meal plan and Dining Dollars, door access, and Crimson Cash.

Crimson Cash is a declining balance account that can be used for dining, laundry, mailroom services, and bookstore purchases.

To use a credit or debit card to add funds to a student's Crimson Cash account, go to the CBORD Website at or download the CBORD GET Mobile App. A convenience fee of $2 applies to each transaction.

Students may log in to CBORD with their regular Transylvania login and password to add funds, check meal plan and Crimson Cash activity, as well as send email requests to parents, friends, and family to add funds to their Crimson Cash account.

Parents, friends, and family can click here to deposit into a student’s account. When prompted for the Transylvania ID number, type 22 followed by the seven-digit account holder number (sometimes called the student billing number): 22#######  (You can also ask your student to send you an email through the website to “Ask for Funds” which will include a link to their account and will not require the account holder number).

You may also mail a check referencing the student account holder number to:
