ECON 3144 – International Trade and Finance

A study of theory and policy of international economic relations. Topics include international trade theory, international trade policy, and international monetary economics. Analysis of trade models, regional economic integration, the balance of payments, international capital flows, exchange rate theories, the evolution of the international financial system, open economy macroeconomic policy, and contemporary issues in the global economy. Prerequisite: ECON 2024 and ECON 2034. IV
