Transylvania hosts numerous lectures and performances throughout the year, from student theatrical and musical performances to world-renowned lecturers and performers. Many are free, and most are open to the public.

Bring a blanket and a picnic for this performance by the Lexington Philharmonic and the Lexington Singers on the steps of Old Morrison on July 3.
For more than 30 years Transylvania accounting students have helped local residents fill out their tax forms. The students—who have completed an income tax preparation training program and work under the supervision of accounting professors—assist taxpayers with an income of $50,000 or less in the preparation of Internal Revenue Service income tax forms 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, and the Kentucky form 740.
Transylvania University admits students regardless of age, race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, national origin, or any other classification protected by federal or state law or local ordinance.
